Instacart provides access to a far wider variety of stores beyond just grocery, from homeware, cosmetics, and books stores to name a few—And, with more stores, there’s more to discover. We illustrated this idea by exploring the personal discoveries someone might make while simply using the app. I set about creating a visual language that matched the cadence of the main character’s exploration, punctuating each visual sequence with camera moves and transitions that capture the excitement of discovery. This was a fun one to direct and the Instacart team were such a pleasure to work with.
